Tony Landin Burton, 53, Columbia, KY (1969-2022) Tony Landin Burton of Columbia died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from injuries sustained in a logging accident. He was 53 years old. The family chose cremation, with private services to be held at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born on June 2, 1969 in Columbia, KY to the late Frankie and Sheila Ann Clements Burton. Tony was of the Christian faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, driving and building demolition derby cars and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife Rhonda Murphy Burton of Columbia, KY; two children Jessica Thompson (Brandon) and Michael Burton (Katie Dawn Morgan) both of Hodgenville, KY; seven grandchildren NinaMae, Logan, Jed, Amelia, Eli, Oakley and Oliver; three siblings Teresa Falucskai (Joe) of Campbellsville, KY, William Douglas Burton (Cate) of Lexington, KY and Kevin Burton (Heather) of Columbia, KY; aunts and uncles Deborah Hensley, Sheila Burton, William Burton (Rose) and Danny Burton (Rita) all of Columbia, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents Delmer Lee and Arleter Burton and William "Bob" and Audra Clements. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
