Scattered storms, extreme heat Tuesday through Thursday

At 2:30pmCT on Monday, July 4, 2022, National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, issued the following hazardous weather outlook for portions of Central Kentucky including Adair and all surrounding counties:
No hazardous weather is expected Monday or Monday night, but thunderstorms will be possible for much of this week, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. Brief torrential rainfall, locally gusty winds, and lightning will be the main threats.

In addition to the storm chances, a combination of heat and humidity will create heat indices rising above 100 degrees, mainly Tuesday through Thursday.
