Jeff Giles says "Thank You" from Iraq

2005-09-15 - Habbinniyah, Iraq - Photo courtesy of the US Navy. LCDR JEFF GILES, SC, USN, 30th Naval Construction Regiment (Seabees)OIC, writes home, "I read the article you posted that my son Jared wrote. It was very nice of you to post it so I could see it. I also appreciate the nice comments others wrote in response to the article. They are correct, I am very proud of my family. It is difficult because I have missed out on a lot during the past three years. I will miss spending Christmas with them again this year but there are many others that miss their families also. Thank everyone for the support for all of the troops." Jeff is stationed at Al Taqqadum AB, in Habbinniyah, Iraq without the opportunity to come home for several months.
