Leonard (Jam Up) McDonald, 85, Adair Co., KY native (1937-2022) Leonard "Jam Up" McDonald of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was 85 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Arnold Sprowles and Bro. Raymond Atwood. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Leonard "Jam Up" McDonald, son of the late James Garland McDonald and Lucille Graham McDonald, was born May 4, 1937 in Adair County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. Leonard was a retired knitting room employee of Fruit of the Loom after some forty years of service. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Dale, Sr. and Kevin Harvick. He also enjoyed taking care of his car and his yard. Leonard united in marriage to Joyce N. Farmer August 23, 1958 and she preceded him in death September 13, 2007. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lea Ann and Steve Benningfield of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jonathan Wilson and wife, Nancy and Jacob Vaughn of Campbellsville and Jessica Adkins of Louisville; five step-grandchildren: Stephanie Skaggs, Craig Benningfield and wife, Bridgette, Steve Benningfield, Jr., Syndie Benningfield and Stacey Meredith and husband, Drew; several great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Larry McDonald and wife, Linda of Concord, North Carolina and Linda Johnson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
