Jim Flowers honored at recent retirement event

Jim Flowers of Columbia's Edward Jones investment firm joined the retirement club this spring.

He started the agency 20 years ago and said, "This has been a job I have enjoyed more than anything else I've ever done. It has been a privilege to be able to help my clients and friends attain their financial goals."

Under his leadership, there are now two Edward Jones offices in the city, the office on the Public Square is run by Joe Willis and the location across from the Public Library is run by Jeff Brummett.

He said that he and Georgann look forward to more travel, especially trips to see their grandchildren.
