Jonathan Hadley injured in one-vehicle accident

A one-vehicle accident about 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, eight miles west of Columbia on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, resulted in a Columbia man being treated for minor injuries at Westlake Regional Hospital. Jonathan Hadley, 22, of 221 Fairplay Road, Columbia, was traveling east on the Parkway, returning from his 3rd shift job in Glasgow, when he apparently fell asleep.

His vehicle went between the guardrail and a rock wall, took out seven guardrail posts, overturned and came to rest against a tree.

The accident was investigated by Adair County Sheriff Steve Cheatham.

The Adair County EMS responded but Hadley refused treatment at the scene and was transported to Westlake Hospital by private vehicle.

The Adair County Rescue Squad also responsded.
