Dawn Clark Morgan, 88, Green County, KY (1933-2022) Dawn Clark Morgan of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vernon Lee Clark and Hallie Ervin Clark, was born on Thursday, August 31, 1933 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 88 years, 9 months, and 3 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Penick's Missionary Baptist Church in Edmonton. She was also a former Certified Nursing Assistant for Green Hill Manor Nursing & Rehab Center. She united in marriage to Roy Lee Morgan on November 26, 1952 who preceded her in death on September 2, 2009. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Deborah and Ricky Rowland, and Tresia Dial all of Green County; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Marty Morgan and his companion, Kathy Jecker of Green County, and Mark and Samantha Morgan of Campbellsville; a foster child: Jack Stapleton of Barren County; three sisters: Sonja Jeffries of Green County, Wava Finn of Bardstown, and Sheena Underwood of Texas; a special friend: Royce Compton; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son: Eric Morgan; a son-in-law: Ronnie Dial; and a grandson: Adam Morgan. The funeral services for Dawn Clark Morgan will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Morgan officiating. Visitation is requested after 10 Saturday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
