Adair Sheriff seeking help in location of stolen pontoon boat and trailer Adair County Sheriff Steve Cheatham is seeking your help in locating a stolen pontoon boat and trailer. The boat and trailer were stolen sometime on Friday night or Saturday night from Bobby Lawson's lot across from his shop on Creek Bend Road in Columbia. The pontoon is described as mostly white with purple trim on a black trailer. Anyone with information regarding this stolen property, or who thinks they may have seen something that would help in the investigation, is asked to concact the Sheriff's Department. Sheriff Cheatham says that Creek Bend is a narrow, dead-end road with numerous houses and considerable traffic, making it difficult to remove a large pontoon without someone witnessing the theft.
