14-year-old Casey County bicyclist dies of injuries A 14-year-old Casey Co girl died this morning, Wednesday, August 24, at 9:50 a.m. Eastern time at the University of Kentucky Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained on Saturday, August 20, 2005, 14 miles south of Liberty on Ky 837. Vanessa Kemarly of Chestnut Level Ridge Liberty, was attempting to cross the road on herbicycle when she pulled into the path of a vehicle being operated by 24 year old Derek Hamilton of Yosemite, Ky. Mr. Hamilton was uninjured.
