James Monroe Jones, 95, Green County, KY (1927-2022) James Monroe Jones was born January 19, 1927, in Green County, KY to the late Riley Thomas Jones and Lois Bloyd Jones. He departed this life Friday, May 21, 2022, having attained the age of ninety-five years, four months and one day. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother: Billy Jones and one sister: Mary Eunice Johnson. He is survived by his sister-in-law: Martha Jones of Greensburg, special friend: Angie Milby of Greensburg, four nephews: Brian Jones of Greensburg, Randall Johnson of Rineyville, Mike Johnson of Florida and Bruce Johnson of Summersville, several great nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends. A Private Funeral Service for James Monroe Jones will be conducted 12noonCT Monday, May 23, 2022, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial will follow in the Bloyds Perkins Cemetery in Green County. A public visitation will be 10am until the funeral hour.
