Nathen Franklin Bolt, 89, Casey Co., KY native (1932-2022) Nathen Franklin Bolt of Louisville passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home. He was 89 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Monday, May 9, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY. Military rites will be conducted by the Casey County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from NoonET to 2pmET on Monday, May 9, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on November 30, 1932, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John Durfey and Eliza Rich Bolt. Nathen was a logger. He enjoyed watching wrestling and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Charlotte Snow Bolt of Louisville; a son, Harold Glen (Sharon) Bolt of Campbellsville; a daughter, Norma Bolt of Fairdale; eight grandchildren, Deana, Jennifer, Kristi, Crystal, Brandy, David, Kevin, and Eva; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lula Baldwin of Campbellsville and Gladys Hughes of Liberty. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Phillip Bolt; a daughter, Debbie Lawson; a brother, Thurman Bolt; and two sisters, Okie Matherly and Betty Wilson.
