Ways to vote in Adair County for the 2022 Primary Election

Click headline for details on each of the voting methods and the list of precincts that will be open on Election Day. Regardless of where or when you vote please remember to bring valid KY ID.

From Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk

There are several ways to vote in the upcoming Kentucky Primary Election, some of them familiar from before the pandemic, and some of them similar to the last couple of years.

Mail in Absentee Voting and Excused In-Person Absentee Voting will only be available to those we meet certain criteria, as explained at Govote.ky.gov.

Early Voting will be possible for any registered voter on May 12, 13, and 14 at the Annex Building. Election Day, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, will look much like years past, with voters required to vote in their precinct of record. All precincts will be open from 6amCT to 6pmCT on Election Day.

If you have any questions please contact the Adair County Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801.

Kentucky observes closed Primary Elections, which means in the primary you have to vote your party. If you changed your affiliation after the December 21, 2021 deadline you will not be eligible to vote in the 2022 Primary. To verify your voter record, please visit Govote.ky.gov or call the Adair County Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801.
