Severe Weather possible on Wednesday April 13, 2022

By Mike Keltner, Director
Adair Co. Emergency Management

I know it's early but wanted to pass along the heads up from the National Weather Service in Louisville:
There is a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms across the WFO Louisville service area on Wednesday. Based on the latest forecasts, a strong cold front is forecast to move through the region late Wednesday. There remains some uncertainty on the exact timing of the front. However, the overall setup for this event appears favorable for severe weather. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes will be possible with this activity.
