Edwin L. DeVore, 69, Russell County, KY (1952-2022)

Edwin L. DeVore, 69, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born August 15, 1952, a son of the late Violet (Young) and Bernice DeVore.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a Baker at the Lake Cumberland State Park.



Edwin is survived by:

his wife Nedra Susie (Pendleton) DeVore, of Russell Springs,

two daughters, Ginger L. DeVore, (Jason) of Russell Springs, KY; Rebekah J. DeVore, (Chistopher) of Russell Springs, KY;

two sons, James E. DeVore (Jamie) of Louisville, KY; Joshua Pendleton, (Elisha) of Benton, KY;

a sister, Rita Livengood, of Lafayette, IN.

two brothers, Don DeVore, (Ute) of Mulbury, IN; Mike DeVore, (Nancy) of Mulbury, IN;

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, JT Taylor, Shea Burton, Myah Gail Ellison, William Devore Jayla Brown and Wyatt Devore, and 1 great grandchild on the way Legend Lee Louis Taylor.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Saturday 4 - 8pmCT and Sunday 10am-12noonCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY. Funeral Service at 2pm on Sunday, April 10th at Salem United Methodist Church in Liberty, KY with Bro. Dwayne Mondie officiating. Interment at Salem Cemetery, Liberty, KY, with full military honors by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.

Pallbearers: David Beville, Jonathan Taylor, Shea Burton, Damien Corbett, James DeVore, and Joshua Pendleton, Honorary Pallbearers: Don DeVore, Mike DeVore, Christopher Dunlap, Jeremy Dunlap, William DeVore and Wyatt DeVore.
