KY 90 in Cumberland Co to one lane next week

By Amber Hale

Somerset, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 advises motorists that the KY 90 bridge (mile point 14.1) over the Cumberland River in Burkesville will be temporarily reduced to one lane next week as crews perform routine bridge inspections.

The lane closures are scheduled to take place Tuesday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 13, starting at approximately 8:30amCT each day. Both lanes will be open during the evening and overnight hours. Temporary traffic signals will be in place on the east and west bound approaches for the lane closure.

The dates and duration of the lane closures may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
