Brenda Gail Back Helm, 60, Russell County, KY native Brenda Gail Back Helm, daughter of the late Wallace and Cecil Garner Back, was born on February 4, 1962 in Russell County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She was 60 years, one month and 30 days of age. She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Grider's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. The time spent with her children and grandchildren was her favorite time of all. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed planting and caring for her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Helm, on May 29, 2012. Survivors include one son: Joshua Helm and fiance Adea Smith of Somerset; one daughter: Jessica Helm and fiance Eric Carter of Russell Springs; three grandchildren: Kameron Helm, Tyler Helm and Scarlett Smith; another granddaughter due in a few months: Laura; one sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Jimmy Dixon of Adair County; and a host of other relatives and friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Harry Matthew Back. The funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Helm will be conducted at 12 o'clock Noon, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Grider's Chapel United Methodist Church in Russell County with burial to follow in the Blakey Cemetery. Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Visitation is requested after 10am until the time of the service at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family and can be made at the funeral home or the church.
