Adair school funerals replace Thursday, Friday schedules

Tragically, Thursday and Friday, March 24 and 25, 2022 will only see schools open for funerals. Two students are dead after a Sunday vehicle crash in northern Adair County. There will be no in person classes nor on campus activities either day.

Today visitation begins at 10amCT at Adair County Middle School for Shyanna Marie Harmon, 13, who died Sunday. The funeral service is at 2pmCT.

Friday visitation begins at 10amCT at Adair County High School for Dalton Lane Gilbert, 16, who died Monday. His funeral service is at 2pmCT.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of these two young students, and to all of their classmates, teachers and staffs at each of their schools.
