Storms possible today, strong winds expected this evening

The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, issued the following Special Weather Statement at 6:01amET on March 23, 2022:
A cold front will sweep across the region, and a few strong thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. Winds from the southwest will increase and become gusty this afternoon and evening. Gusts of 30-40 mph are likely, and a few peak gusts over 40 mph are possible. Winds this strong will make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Outdoor objects should be secured.
This Special Weather Statement is for an area that includes Adair and all surrounding counties.
