TJRH 12 Months of Giving: Helping with utility bills By Stacey Biggs Over the past two years, the support for our organization from the communities we serve has been nothing short of amazing. While we are always very involved in the communities we serve, we decided to find ways to go above and beyond in giving back to those who have supported T.J. Regional Health. Every month in 2022, we are doing a little extra to support local families, charities, partner organizations, students, schools, healthcare workers and more as part of our 12 Months of T.J. initiative. In February, we chose to make donations to provide financial support to those who could use a helping hand with their utility bills. With the cold temperatures and weather related events we have experienced in the past few months, we know that many families are working hard to keep up with their utility bills while also juggling so many other of life's expenses to make ends meet. With that in mind, T.J. Regional Health presented donations in the amount of $2,500 to multiple electric and water utility companies in our service area with the request that the donation be divided to help families in a meaningful way by giving them a bill credit. For customer confidentiality, the families will remain anonymous. We are happy to make these donations as part of the 12 Months of T.J. initiative. This story was posted on 2022-03-10 07:28:24
