Clearing skies today, high 56F, snow coming Friday night It's currently 34F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Today will start out mostly cloudy, then gradually become sunny, with a high near 56F and alm wind becoming northeast around 6 mph in the morning. Tonight will be mostly clear, with an overnight low around 33F and light and variable wind. Friday will bring increasing clouds, with a high near 62F and calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. On Friday night, crashing temperatures behind a strong cold front will bring a change from rain to snow over the region into Saturday morning. The snow could be heavy at times, and the overnight low will drop to 25F. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
