Inflation workshop at Extension Office, Tue 15 Mar 2022 By Dylan Gentry, Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences Adair County Cooperative Extension Service The next public Family and Consumer Sciences workshop offering will be held at NoonCT on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY. We will meet in the large meeting room in the back. The lesson will be "Inflation: How Money Loses Value". The world is a complicated and constantly evolving place, without even mentioning the global financial system. The pandemic, labor costs, and now European conflicts are affecting how far your dollar can go. During this lesson we will discuss what inflation is, how it happens, and what you can do to mitigate its effects. This will be a fun and informative lesson; light refreshments will be provided.
