William G. (Bill) Bradshaw, 88, Greensburg, KY (1933-2022)

William Gene "Bill" Bradshaw of Greensburg passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was 88 years old.

The funeral services for William Gene "Bill" Bradshaw will be conducted at NoonCT on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Greensburg Presbyterian Church with Interment in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Tuesday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, from 7amCT until 9amCT on Wednesday at the funeral home, and after 10amCT on Wednesday at the Greensburg Presbyterian Church until time of the funeral service.


William Gene "Bill" Bradshaw of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Carter Bradshaw and Eva Ford Wells Bradshaw, was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1933 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was 88 years, 9 months, and 16 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. He was also a retired teacher for the Green County Vocational School after 30 years. (More concerning Mr. Bradshaw's life and accomplishments to be added)

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Nell Elizabeth Bass Bradshaw of Greensburg, having united in marriage on February 27, 1959.

Other survivors include a daughter: Lesa Bradshaw of Greensburg and of Cape Coral, Florida; special nieces and nephews: Janie P. Flood, Lauren, James, Rachel, and Ethan Ford, Lindsey, Jeff, Mia and Abbey Landis all of Green County, Jarrett, Kandy, Jenna, Jesse McConnico all of Atlanta, Georgia; Brian, Sherry Pickett, and Laura of Omaha, Nebraska, Michelle Pickett Connors, Jake, Theo, and Alice all of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Andy and Kim Bass of Campbellsville; other nieces and nephews: Betty, W.C., Roger, Kay and Becky Furkin all of Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bradshaw was also preceded in death by his mentor and grandfather: Fred Bradshaw and his wife, Alice; and an infant sister: Mary Bradshaw.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, the Jeremiah Abell Cabin Fund, or the Life Bridge for Animals Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
