Ruby Beaty, 89, Columbia, KY (1932-2022) Ruby Lillian Corbin Beaty of Columbia passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was 89 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue on Tuesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. The family request that everyone attending the services wear a mask or face covering. She was born on April 6, 1932 to the late Aaron Corbin and Ina Stotts Corbin Murphy. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clay Beaty, step-father Elzie Murphy, two children Judith Reinig and Steven Beaty, her son-in-law Donald Keith and a half-brother Jadell Murphy. Mrs. Beaty attended the Haven Mission Church and enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include a daughter Rebecca Keith of Columbia, KY; five grandchildren Janet Harmon (Tony) of Columbia, KY, Rhonda Garrett of Louisville, KY, David Randall Curry of Columbia, KY, Jason Keith of Arizona and Shelley Ramsey (Anthony) of Columbia, KY; three great grandchildren Corey Harmon, Kelci Ramsey, Josh Garrett and Garrett Keith; two half-sisters Ceola Hill and Barbara Janes and two half-brothers Carlos and Donnie Murphy. Pallbearers will be Corey Harmon, Tony Harmon, Anthony Ramsey, Jerry Burton, David Curry, Gary Keith and Benny Gentry. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
