Republican party meeting: poll workers still needed By Veronica Arnold The local chapter of the Republican party met Thursday evening in the basement of the Annex building. Among many topics discussed was the need for poll workers for upcoming elections. It was made clear that anyone of legal age to vote, regardless of political affiliation, is asked to please volunteer for polling places. Everyone coming together to help make voting in our local elections possible and more accessible for all Adair county! We were told the deadline to sign up is coming soon, mid March! All interested parties should inquire ASAP and it pays to be a poll workers! Stay dry, stay safe, and stay committed to our community!
