Adair District Court Jury awards Chris Cowan record $6.2 million Prominent Milltown Church Road farmer Chris Cowan was awarded a total $6.2 million for injuries he sustained in a mower accident three years ago. The settlement was the largest personal injury award, by far, in Adair County Court history. The jury decision was rendered in the Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2005, in Adair County District Court, with Judge James Weddle presiding.
