Marvin Martin, 94, Casey County, KY (1927-2022) Marvin Martin, age 94 of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday February 21, 2022, at his residence. He was born July 29, 1927, in Gilpin, KY, a son of the late Noble and Alta Gosser Martin. He was a farmer, Owner of Martin's Grocery, and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was the widower of Lela Evelyn McDonald Martin who passed away on October 24, 2018. Survivors include: One Daughter, Donna Jean Sharp of Liberty; One Son, Steven Kent Martin of Liberty; Four Grandchildren, Susan Sharp Lynn, Ronnie Gene Sharp, Brian Keith Martin and Brandon Kent Martin; Seven Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Shae, Madison, Ryan, Lily, Shelby and Brian; Two Great Great Grandchildren: Raegyn and expecting Layla in April; Several Step Grandchildren, and Several Step Great Grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was One Daughter, Linda Susan Martin; One Great Great Grandchild, Matthew Rylan Lynn; and One Brother, Ray Martin. Visitation will be held 6-9pmET Friday February 25, 2022 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday with Bro. Dallon McDonald officiating.
