Steven Lee Hessig, 68, Green Co., KY (1953-2022) Steven Lee Hessig of Green Co. passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his home. He was 68 years old. Funeral services for Steven Lee Hessig will be conducted at 4pmCT on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Jacob Davis officiating. Following his wishes cremation will follow the funeral service. There will be no burial. Visitation will be from NoonCT until the funeral at 4pmCT on Saturday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home. Steven Lee Hessig was born July 5, 1953, in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Jack Lee Hessig and Ruth Agnes Quinn Hessig. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a researcher for a law firm. He is survived by his beloved dog: Dixie, one son and daughter-in-law: Michael Hessig and his wife Rowena of Greensburg, two daughters and two sons-in-law: Ashley Tousignant and her husband Bobby of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Amanda Simcoe and her husband Chase of Louisville, his former wife and friend: Angela Warren of Louisville, one sister: Debbie Stallard of Greensburg, two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Rick Hessig and his wife Linda and Larry Hessig and his wife Connie of Louisville, twelve grandchildren: Jack, Eliot, Cerria, Justin, Jacob, Alexa, Kaleb, Sydney, Kennedy, Rachel, Abigayle and Kinsley. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Taylor County Animal Shelter or the Green River Ministries Center. These can be made at the funeral Home.
