Emery May, 87, Campbellsville, KY (1934-2022) Emery J. May of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was 87 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Ivan Siler. Burial will follow in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested from NoonET until 2pmET on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Emery May, son of the late Taylor May and Grace Sims May, was born September 29, 1934 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Freedom Christian Church. Emery was a retired over the road truck driver and was owner and operator of a trucking company. He united in marriage to Roberta Wesley November 21, 1936. He enjoyed going to flea markets and trading, visiting and talking with folks and anything having to do with cars and motorcycles. Besides his wife, Roberta May of Campbellsville, Emery is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol Anne May of Elk Horn; four grandchildren: Wes May and wife, Claire, Meredith Parker and Aaron Lowe of Louisville, Dale Lowe and wife, Kathy of Springboro, Ohio; three great-grandchildren: Marina Parker of Franklin, Tennessee and Carson Lowe of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Colby Lowe of Springboro, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Lee Leigh and two brothers in infancy. Pallbearers: Byron Hash, Aaron Lowe, Colby Lowe, Dale Lowe, Jr., Wes May, Gary May Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the Family Life Center at Lowell Avenue Baptist Church and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
