Mary Katherine Riddle, 92, Indianapolis, IN (1929-2022) Mrs. Mary Katherine (Pierce) Riddle of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at her residence. She was 92 years old. The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Katherine (Pierce) Riddle was conducted on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10amCT, graveside ,in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Bro. Larry Spears officiated. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, on Friday, November 22, 1929, the daughter of Jesse F and Minnie (Mercer) Pierce. She was of the Methodist faith, worked as a secretary for Indianapolis Power and Light Company and also Banquet Dairy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Shelby Riddle, siblings, William Pierce, Ida Dean (Pierce) Moore, Wendell Pierce, Leah (Pierce) Patterson, Thomas Pierce, Max Pierce. She is survived by children, Shirley (& Greg) Ueber of Sterling Heights, Michigan, David L. Riddle of Indianapolis, Indiana, sibling, Lyle (& Geraldine) Pierce of Albany, Kentucky, 3 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Casket bearers were Mark C. New, Greg Wells, Kenneth Brown, Bro. Larry Spears, Dennis McWhorter, Sheriff Scot Daniels, Johnny Shelley, Nathan Shelley, Tom Storie.
