Linda Read Smith, 79, Campbellsville, KY (1942-2022) Linda Read Smith of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Hodgenville. She was 79 years old. A graveside service will be held at NoonET on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Eddie Finn. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested at 10amET on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Linda Read Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joe Read and Nora Cruise, was born October 20, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. Linda was a very private person, sewing was her favorite activity. Linda is survived by one daughter, Wanda Shirrell and companion, Eddie Nalley of Summersville; two grandchildren: Raymond Shirrell of Campbellsville, and Robert Shirrell of Greensburg; two brothers and four sisters: John Read, Delores Jeffries, Edna Read, Evalean Read, Josie Osborne, and Larry Read; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters: Robert Read, Joe Read, Glenn Read, Harry Read, Benny Read, Catherine Read, Norma Read, and Rosie Read. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the funeral expenses and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
