Benton O'Neal Fudge is owner of South Central Designs

Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Board Member Benton Fudge does blueprints for residential and commercial buildings
Young entrepreneur Benton O'Neal Fudge got involved in the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce right up front when he started his own business here just over a year ago. He is this month's featured Board Member. Benton owns South Central Designs in Columbia with offices located in Tutt Street Business Suites on the corner of Jamestown and Tutt Streets. Benton designs blueprints for both residential and small commercial buildings.

He is also associated with Alliance Corporation in Glasgow were he does architectural and mechanical drafting. He did the design work on two homes in Airport Estates and also on William and Rosie Burton's house, just to name a few local examples of his work.

He is an Adair County native, the son of Danny and Melissa Fudge, of Breeding and a graduate of Adair County High School and of Bowling Green Technical College. His grandfather Charles Fudge lives in Breeding and his younger brother Carley Fudge is a freshman at Lindsey Wilson College.

In addition to the Chamber of Commerce he is also a member of the downtown Renaissance Group. He has a special interest in the restoration of Columbia's historic downtown. With his designer's eye, Benton can see how desperately the older buildings need work. He is also a member of The Cane Valley Christian Church.

He can be reached at 270-378-5933 or 634-1530. His e-mail address is:BFudge@AllianceCorporation.Com.
