Basketball: LWC to host Cumberlands on Monday

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team will host their fourth straight home game Monday afternoon when they host Cumberlands (KY). Tipoff for the women's game is scheduled for 4pmCT.

The men's basketball team will also host their fourth straight game when they welcome in the Cumberlands men's team later on Monday evening. Tipoff for the men's game is scheduled for 6pmCT.

Live video and live stats will be available for both games.

Due to the ongoing challenges with COVID-19, Lindsey Wilson College has adjusted the attendance policy for games played at Biggers Sports Center. Only individuals on the pass list will be allowed to attend games. Each member of the team and coaching staff will be allowed up to four guests per contest. Faculty, staff, family, and students may be included on the pass list if invited by a student-athlete or coach. Face masks are required to be worn correctly during all times while inside the facility. Violators of the face mask policy may be asked to leave the building.


The Blue Raiders women (11-8, 6-5 MSC) currently sit fourth in the conference standings and enter the match after dropping their game against Bethel (Tenn.) 60-70 Saturday afternoon. Senior forward Hailey Ison had 24 points and eight rebounds in the game while senior forward Bree Glover had five blocks in the game to earn her accomplishment of 100 career blocks.

The men's team will (9-13, 2-12 MSC) enter the match after dropping a sixth-straight game against Bethel (TN) 61-73 on Saturday afternoon. Senior guard Payton Cundiff led the team with 18 points in the loss.
