Darla Faye Davis Asbury, 63, Green Co., KY (1958-2022) Darla Faye Davis Asbury of the Hardyville area of Green County passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home. She was 63 years old. Graveside services will be held at 11amCT on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Hedgespeth Cemetery, with Bro. Ed Letto officiating. Visitation for Darla Faye Davis Asbury is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Darla Faye Davis Asbury, daughter of the late Ivan Keith Davis and Elsie Harlow Simpkins, was born on Sunday, August 24, 1958 in Glasgow, Kentucky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Glasgow. She was also a former machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. Survived by her husband: Lenny Charles Asbury of Green County; two daughters: Stephanie Asbury and wife, Bethany of Green County, and Anissa Jolly and husband, Tom of Mississippi; two grandchildren: Jacob Gillispie and Evan Jolly; a sister and three brothers: Wanda Johnson of Horse Cave, Scott Davis of Massachusetts; Tony Davis of Horse Cave, and Keith Dale Davis of Utah; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Asbury was also preceded in death by two sisters: Sharon Asbury and Brenda Russell. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Maranatha International, which can be made at the funeral home, or www.maranathainternational.org.
