Basketball: LWC to close out week against the Firehawks

By Kyle Jackson

The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team looks to build off their win against Life (GA) last night as they cap off a two-game road trip with a game against Tennessee Southern on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Blue Raiders (9-6, 4-3 MSC) enter the match on a four-game win streak, all of which have been road games, after defeating the Running Eagles 68-52 last night. Senior forward Maleigha Oldham scored 20 points in the victory while the Blue Raiders remained perfect from the free throw line.

The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team faces Tennessee Southern later on Saturday afternoon after suffering a tough defeat at the hands of Cumberland (TN) on Monday.

Tipoff for the women's team is scheduled for 2pmCT. Tipoff for the men's game will follow at 4pmCT. Live video and live stats will be available for both matches.
