Gerald Palmer (Jerry) York, 65, Greensburg, KY (1956-2021) Gerald Palmer "Jerry" York of Greensburg passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the T.J. Sampson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was 65 years old. The funeral services for Gerald Palmer "Jerry" York will be conducted at 1pmCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY. Visitation is requested from 3pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Saturday until time of the funeral service. Gerald Palmer "Jerry" York, son of the late Stanley Palmer York and Geraldine Norris York, was born on Friday, June 22, 1956 in Orlando, Florida. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He retired from Glass Paving in Glasgow where he was a truck driver. Mr. York enjoyed spending time with family, working with leather, flying drones, and riding horses. Survived by his wife of 12 years, Martha Lou Dial York of Greensburg, having united in marriage on April 3, 2009. Other survivors include two sons: Billy Joe York and Roger Dale Morgan Jr., both of Greensburg; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Jerrie Lee Terry, Patty Pruitt and her husband Ken Pruitt, Sherry Sharp and her husband Brad Sharp, Angela Bryant and her husband JP Bryant; two brothers: Gary York and Ray York; six sisters and two brothers-in-law: Vickie Blakeman, Janet Jefferies, Patricia Hill, Judy Rickmond, Debbie Reich and her husband Ted Reich, Mary Susan Bach and her husband Herb Bach; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
