Mary Sue Judd VanArsdale, 79, Greensburg, KY (1942-2021)

Mary Sue Judd VanArsdale, of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab Center. She was 79 years old.

A committal service for Mary Sue Judd VanArsdale will be conducted at 11amCT on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Fry Baptist Church in Green County. Burial to follow in the Fry Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday, and from 7amCT until 9:30amCT on Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY.


Mary Sue Judd VanArsdale, daughter of the late Luther Judd and Ida Bloyd Judd, was born on Monday, March 30, 1942 in Green County.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Fry Baptist Church. She was an avid collector of many things, especially quilts and was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband of 61 years, Dwayne K. VanArsdale of Greensburg, having united in marriage on July 9, 1960.

Other survivors include a son: Byron VanArsdale of Greensburg; a sister: Garnieta Squires of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs.VanArsdale was also preceded in death by a sister: Lorena Squires; and two brothers: Ruhel Judd and Denzil Judd.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Fry Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund.
