Howard C. Kinman, age, 97, Casey County, KY (1924-2021) Howard C. Kinman, age, 97 of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday December 9, 2021, at his residence. He was born April 5th, 1924, in Jonesville, KY, a son of the Clay Kinman and Letha Quillen Billiter. Howard was a retired switchman for L&N Railroad for 37 years, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of Clifton Christian Church in Louisville, KY. He enjoyed junking, collecting antique farm equipment, story telling and spending time with his family and friends. Howard was the widower of Allen Jean Courtney Kinman. Survivors include: One Son: Dennis Kinman and (Ching Shaw) of Campbellsville, One Daughter: Pam and (Jerry) Hardwick of Liberty, Four Grandchildren: Nicki and (John) Tarter, Courtney Durham, DeAnna Lewis and Clay and (Hisako) Kinman, Three Step Grandchildren: Jerry and (Jenn) Hardwick, Melissa Hardwick and C.J. Escobar, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Six Great-Great Grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was Five Sisters: Rosa Webster, Opal Haines, Shirley Burns, Mable Ashby and Mary Jo Wahlman and Two Brothers: Harvey Kinman and Albert Billiter. Visitation will be held 6-9pmET Tuesday December 14th, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 11amET Wednesday December 15, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Chauncey Lattimer Jr. and Bro. Steve Martin officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Honor Guard.
