Connie Lee Cox, 62, Metcalfe County, KY (1959-2021)

Connie Lee Cox, age 62, of Edmonton passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the home of her daughter after a lengthy illness. She was born July 3, 1959, to the late Demon and Elizabeth Martin. She was of the Baptist faith.

Connie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Lacy Cox.



Two daughters, Tina (Allen) Wilson and Tonya (Darren) Durbin all of Edmonton.

Granddaughters Hollie Durbin (Kenny) of Glasgow, Meagan Wilson of Richmond, Madison Wilson of Edmonton.

Grandsons Hunter Durbin (Mary Grace Piercy) of Park City, and Dylan Durbin of Edmonton. Great granddaughter Hensleigh Durbin, a stepdaughter Melissa Cox, and step grandson, Tyler Bray.

Connie is also survived by two brothers and a sister; Mike (Sally) Martin of Edmonton, Sheila (Butch) Gibson of Edmonton and Lynn (Anita) Martin of Edmonson County. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 until 8 Saturday and after 9 Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
