Mary Katherine Cassaday, 81, Metcalfe County, KY (1940-2021) Mary Katherine Cassaday, 81, of Edmonton passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. She was born May 3, 1940 in Metcalfe County to the late Jim and Cecile Hamilton Kinnaird. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Cassaday. Mary Katherine retired from the Metcalfe County School system after 32 years of service. After retirement she stayed very active studying genealogy, traveling, scrapbooking and writing. Mary Katherine was a member of the Metcalfe County Historical Society, former Edmonton Presbyterian Church and Daughters of The American Revolution. She is survived by her children: Julie and husband Ryan McQueary of Columbia. Scott and wife Lonna Cassaday of Brownsville. Chris and wife Kathy Cassaday of Glasgow. Five grandchildren - Phillip (Maggie) Cassaday and Will Cassaday all of Bowling Green. Christopher Cassaday of Glasgow, Jake and Jaxton McQueary both of Columbia. Two great grandchildren, Charlie Cassaday and McKinley Cassaday. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Tuesday, December 14 th at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pmCT Monday and after 9am Tuesday at the funeral home. Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. This story was posted on 2021-12-11 21:18:43
