Christmas in Columbia 2021 kicks off this weekend

By Ellen Zornes, Executive Director
Columbia-Adair Co. Chamber of Commerce

Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot--especially the parade--and we are ready for this year's 30th Christmas in Columbia and Parade.

On Friday, December 3, 2021, the monthly "To The Nines" local shopping event will take place on the Public Square, with stores open until 9pmCT. Come join us and get in the Christmas Spirit by shopping local with your friends and neighbors. Stores will be open on Saturday, and many will have Christmas Parade Specials.

On Saturday, December 4, 2021, during the day of 'Christmas in Columbia', the historic Trabue Russell House on Jamestown Street will be open from 11amCT to 1pmCT. The City of Columbia invites all to stop by and enjoy the period decorations provided by Mary Anne Loy.

The Columbia Christmas Parade will begin at 6pmCT on Saturday, December 4, 2021, and will follow the usual route from the Industrial Park on South Hwy 55, down Jamestown Street, around the Square and ending on Burkesville Street. (It is going to be our best parade ever. Due to the large number of entries this year, we cannot accept any more participants.)

We are looking forward to seeing you during Christmas in Columbia!
