Anna Lee Bright, 87, Campbellsville, KY (1934-2021)

Anna Lee Bright of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. She was 87 years old.

At Anna Lee's request, there will be private funeral service conducted by Rev. Drew Underwood on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 10amET until NoonET on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Anna Lee Bright, daughter of the late Stanley Bright and Nora Rakes Bright, was born August 21, 1934 in Marion County, Kentucky.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

Anna loved sewing and was able to look at something and make it without a pattern. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and treating her grandchildren with cookies.

She united in marriage to Ralph Bright December 9, 1950 and he preceded her in death March 24, 2000.

Anna is survived by one son and one daughter: Larry K. Bright and wife, Gayle, and Charlotte Underwood and husband, Ronnie of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Tyler Bright and wife, Bridger of Lexington, Drew Underwood and wife, Bobbie Jo, Jonathan Bright and wife, Mindy and Chase Underwood and wife, Haley of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Braxton Bright, Ava Bright, Henry Bright, Savannah Underwood, and Ellie Underwood; one brother and one sister: Porter Bright of Bradfordsville and Shirley Osborne of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters: Gerald Bright, Bobby Bright, Dan Bright, Seldon Bright, Allene Roberts, Mary Rita Bright, Rosie Russell, Lillian Tucker, and Shelby Smith.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
