So far, survey shows overwhelming support for considering merged city-county gov in the current ColumbiaMagazine.com survey, the voting at 11:24 a.m., May 19, 2005, is running 4-to-1 in favor of considering merged city-county goverment. The question is, "Should the people of Columbia and Adair County consider merged City-County government"? A simple "Yes" or "No" choice is offered, but comments are welcome.
