William Malcolm Humphress, 80, Taylor County, KY (1941-2021) William Malcolm Humphress of Elk Horn, age 80, passed from this life on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Son of the late William G. and Maude Lee (Chappell) Humphress, he was born in Taylor County on November 2, 1941. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Christie Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a former employee of Parker-Kalon, and the caretaker of the Harden Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife of 60 years: Mrs. Helen Virginia (Mudd) Humphress, Three sons: Ronald Mark Humphress and wife Tammy of Knifley, Steven Keith Humphress and wife Jane of Campbellsville, and Michael Wade Humphress and wife Pam of Columbia, Three siblings: Wyneth Eastridge, Joyce Eastridge, and Yvonne Humphress and husband Garry, all of Campbellsville, Six grandchildren: Whitney Kemp and husband Nick, Eric Humphress, Chantay York and husband Cody, Adam Humphress and wife Jasmine, Matthew Humphress and wife Emilly, and Brook Bell and husband Levi, Eight great-grandchildren: Piper, Gabby, Gavin, Maxton, Easton, Roni, Kassi, and Aspen, And a host of other family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Humphress. There will be a funeral service to honor his life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11amET (10amCT) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Steve Francis will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Harden Cemetery, Hwy 76, Adair County, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8pmET. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Harden Cemetery. Those can be made in person at the funeral home, online through the "Donations" tab or by mailing them to Harden Cemetery Fund, 17 Gumm Rd, Columbia, KY 42728.
