Michael James Holt, 39, Russell County, KY (1982-2021)

Michael James Holt, of Windsor, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at his home. He was 39.

Born June 13, 1982, in Somerset, KY, he was the son of Mark and Teresa Murphy Holt. Michael formerly worked for Tarter Industries. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include parents, Mark and Teresa Murphy Holt of Windsor; sister, Brittany Popplewell of Russell Springs; maternal grandparents, Hershel and Rosalee Murphy of Liberty; nieces, Chloe Popplewell and Hannah Malone; nephews, Bryson Holt, Brayden Popplewell, and Ryder Popplewell; and a host of aunts, uncles, and additional family members also survive.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Jean Holt and his paternal grandparents, Willie and Daisy Holt.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmET Friday, November 12, 2021, at the 910 Full Gospel Church with Bro. Kelly Burton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and from 11am until 2pm on Friday at the church.

Memorials may be given to help the family offset funeral expenses.
