L.E.A.D. group starts recruitment drive Deadline to apply for the 2006 graduating class is Friday, June 3, 2005 Recruitment begins this week for Adair County's new leadership development program, "Lead Adair County". Founders are eager to visit with business and organizational groups to explain the benefits of being among applicants. Whether you wish to network with other like-minded individuals learning more about your community, become a more efficient manager, improve your teamwork skills or just become a better communicator, you belong in this program. L.E.A.D. (Leaders Enthusiastic About Developing) Adair County, is a series of training workshops in which participants can enhance their personal, business and civic leadership skills as well as discover how and where they can best serve to make a difference. Deadline to apply for the 2006 graduating class is Friday, June 3, 2005. If you would like more information on how you or a member of your business or organization can work with people who want to help make our community a better place, call 384-4401. Applications can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce in Columbia.
