Donations needed for The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

By Debbie Cowan

The Adair County Service Unit of The Salvation Army will once again be providing the Angel Tree Christmas assistance program for our community. This program provides Christmas gifts to qualifying Adair County children and is made possible through donations and community support.

To make this project successful, we are requesting that you or your church/organization/group consider providing items for the Angel Tree Shop. These items will be organized and parents of children that are eligible for the program will be able to come and "shop" these items to find Christmas gifts for their children. We are in need of toys, sweathsirts, socks, underware and hygiene items. Items would need to be delivered to Trinity Church Fellowship Hall, 2418 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, on December 9, 2021, between 8amCT and 11amCT.

If you would be willing to participate in this worthy project, please contact 270-384-9112 or 270-384-7617 as soon as possible to discuss your contribution. We would also gladly accept cash donations for the program. Checks should be made to Salvation Army Angel Tree and mailed to PO Box 1085 Columbia, KY 42728.

In Christ's love,
The Adair County Service Unit
The Salvation Army
