Shirley Dudley Jones believes old photo is downtown Gradyville

Shirley Jones sends us this note regarding the old photo we believe to be of Gradyville: (Click 'read more' below to go directly from front page highlights to the full story).

Seeing the picture of old Gradyville -- I believe that is Walker's store, and the house just to the left over the porch is a house my aunt Bessie and uncle Garnet Keltner lived in some years later. The building to the left looks like the Church.


I belive Ron DeVore is the young boy I remember coming to my great aunt Jenny's house when she and Uncle Willey Coomer lived on up Big Creek from Gradyville. My Grandfather was William Compton, Aunt Jennys brother.
