6th Annual Adair County Book Fair on for Fri 5 Nov 2021 The sixth annual Adair County Book Fair will be held from NoonCT to 6pmCT on Friday, November 5, 2021, in the Columbia Baptist Church meeting room, 201 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. The event is being held in conjunction with To the Nines downtown shopping for November, which will begin on the Public Square around 6pmCT. The annual event will be host to numerous regional and local authors. Among those scheduled to attend are Louann Russell, John Davis, minister, Columbia Christian Church, Barbara Wright, Mike Watson, Adair County Genealogical Society, Tim Roy, Dr. Marshall Myers, Eastern Kentucky University, Joe Fair, Mel Hankla, Dennis Crump, Russell Lunsford, Lanny Tucker, Rick Lee, Dwan Hadley, Rodney White, Ernestine Bennett, Linda Waggener, and Laura Gupton. David Williams, who recently passed away, will be represented by his sisters, Becky and Debbie. Organizer Mike Watson says, "We hope covid numbers continue to drop as they have been the past weeks. This will ease everyone's concerns. We ask that all those who attend wear masks inside the building to protect each other." The event is sponsored by Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots and Mike Watson, with assistance from the Adair County Public Library, the Adair County Genealogical Society, and the Adair Heritage Association.
