H.M. Bottom, 82, Russell County, KY (1939-2021) H.M. Bottom, 82, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Saturday, October 16, at T.J. Samson Hospital, Glasgow, KY. He was born in Russell Springs on September 23, 1939, a son of the late Edith (Anderson) and Homer Bottom. He was the Emergency Management Coordinator for Russell County, Russell Springs Fire Chief, ABC and Waste Management Coordinator. H.M. is survived by His wife Sue (Turner) Bottom, of Russell Springs, KY Three daughters - Kathy, wife of Donnie Johnson, of Russell Springs; Kim, wife of Keith Foley, of Russell Springs; Kelley, wife of Mark Wright, Russell Springs Two sisters - Brenda, wife of Jerry Holt, of Russell Springs; Mary Ann, wife of Jimmie Rubarts, of Louisville, KY. Five grandchildren - Kara (Ethan) Dorris, Jason Foley, Megan (Cody) Coffey, Macy and Tanner Wright Four great grandchildren Jasmine (Sam) Milam, Luke Luttrell, Brooks and Beckett Coffey. One great great granddaughter, Milly Milam. He is also survived by a host of nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lyman and Eugene Bottom; four sisters - Olena Akers, Maxene Clayton, Betty Foley and Carolyn Bottom. Religious Service at Russell Springs First Baptist Church at 1pmCT on Wednesday, October 20, with Honorable James Michael Lawson officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 and Wednesday 8am till time of service at the church. Interment will br at Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church Cemetery Russell Springs.
