Rev. John Harvey Berry, 38, Summersville, KY (1982-2021) Rev. John Harvey Berry passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 in Campbellsville. He was 38 years old. The funeral services for Rev. John H. Berry will be conducted at 10amCT on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Shirley and Bro. Gordon Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery. Visitation is requested on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 3pmCT until 8pmCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Rev. John Harvey Berry, son of Finis Wayne Berry and Barbara Ann Skaggs Berry of Summersville, was born on December 6, 1982 in Hardin County. He was first and foremost a born again Christian and Preacher and was a member of the New Water Baptist Church. He was a former Tooling Machinist for DANA Corporation for 15 plus years, until they closed the plant. Bro. Berry was now working as a Service Technician for Instant Aire Heating and Cooling. He was also an avid artist doing pencil art. He is also survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law: Shannon & Chris Riggs of Elizabethtown, Tonya & Brian Rose of Indiana, and Mandy & Timmy Douglas of Summersville. A brother & sister-in-law: Josh & Janel Berry of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends. He also left behind his dog, KiKi. Active Pallbearers: Paul Shirley, James Dobson, Dillion Lewis, Taylor McCubbin, Roger Berry, Caleb Shirley, Zach Berry, Nathan Berry Honorary Pallbearers: Elam Rose, Carver Berry, Jared Riggs, Ezra Shirley, New Water Men and Young Men Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
